I've spent 12+ years building and operating technology systems for government organizations across Oklahoma. What started as IT infrastructure work evolved — over thousands of hours of self-directed learning and production problem-solving — into full-stack software engineering.
Today I build and maintain a multi-repo SaaS platform serving 77 county treasurer offices: Node.js backends, Vue.js frontends, GraphQL APIs, NestJS services, MongoDB databases, and Kubernetes deployments. I've migrated 650,000+ tax records per county from legacy systems, built AI-powered financial auditing workflows, and shipped a full IT ticketing system with Slack integration and remote device monitoring from scratch.
I'm equally comfortable writing a GraphQL resolver, configuring a Kubernetes namespace, debugging a race condition in a real-time subscription, or explaining a deployment pipeline to a non-technical stakeholder. I've had to be — the environments I work in don't have the luxury of narrow specialization.
